Instructions

1. Choose a page spread by skimming the text on the pages and finding a phrase to highlight.

2. Reinforce the pages: Use gel medum to glue the the right page to 2-3 pages behind. Do the same for the left page of the spread. Let dry.

3. Trim sticky note to create a mask for the phrase. Cover page spread with sage paint.

4. Pour small puddles of the two blue paints onto a palette and pick up paint with sponge. Pounce excess paint off onto the palette and sponge colors onto page spread, letting some of the green background show through.

5. When page is mostly dry, pull sticky note masks from the page, using tweezers.

6. When page is completely dry, stick clear bubble stickers over masked words on page.

7. Trim word vellum to size and attach to right-hand page of spread.

8. Trim photo to size and attach to page, as shown, with paper corners.

9. Apply rub-ons to pages as shown.
